Slip Testing

We have the very latest Pendulum slip testing units all recently calibrated by a NATA approved laboratory, we have the tools in place to provide a completely unbiased Australian Standard compliant on site test for an existing floor area under AS/NZS 4663 (2004) or loose tiles or new floor areas under AS/NZS 4586 (2004).

Our test reports consist of the NATA Accredited test report, a site map, photos of the area (if applicable) and a brief explanation of the test report and the relation of the results to the applicable standards so you, our client can see at first glance how the report relates to your test area with regard to compliance with the recommendations under the standards, The Sliptest Australia Pty. test report and supporting documentation is provided in an easy to follow straight forward format in line with the requirements of the relevant standards.

At Sliptest Australia Pty. Ltd. we strive to give you the latest relevant information available and we are constantly researching areas within this field to be aware of any changes and requirements under the Australian Standards and any new developments, which may assist us in providing information to you.

One area in particular we are researching is the relationship between Ramp test results and Pendulum test results, for those of you who will ask (As we did) there is no relationship and no direct correlation between these two test results at this time, perhaps in the future a comparative table may be made available, in the interim, we will be looking at ways to offer our services in this area for on site areas which may need a ramp classification.
